What Makes Anthem AZ Livable?
Anthem AZ has a reputation of being a very safe, family orientated environment with great schools and dozens of indoor and outdoor activities which include swimming, rock wall climbing, splash pads, baseball/softball/soccer fields, skate parks, indoor basketball, meeting rooms, workout facilities and more. According to those who live there, Anthem is large enough to meet new people, yet small enough to see your neighbors at the neighborhood Walmart. The overall design of Anthem is laid out to promote a family-friendly community with lots of kids. Many homes in the Anthem area are designed with front porches and low block fencing for the purpose of making a connection with neighbors. Anthem from its public parks to its community pools is well-maintained and kept amazingly clean. There is a high volume of seniors and retired families that reside in Anthem.
Anthem is a connected small-town community with a civic center, large community park, smaller play parks, an outlet mall, community center and various market places. The Interstate I-17 that leads to Phoenix slices through to divide Anthem by residential and commercial boundaries.
Many of the residents are happy with what Anthem AZ has to offer, however it has been suggested by many that Anthem offer more healthy eating alternatives to offset the oversupply of roadside fast food stores. Nightlife in Anthem is virtually non-existent and much of the retail centers shut down early leaving chain restaurants and convenience stores open to service freeway travelers. Teens have the toughest time adjusting to the Anthem lifestyle. Because of Anthem’s distance from shopping malls, movie theaters and other local teen hangouts, many teens are forced to commute out of Anthem to have a good time. The homes for sale in Anthem AZ average about 10-years in age and blend into the beauty of the natural Arizona desert. It’s not uncommon to find a wide variety of one-level, 3-bedroom homes mixed with larger 5-bedroom homes. If you’re looking for a luxury home, Anthem will not disappoint.
